The Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association and Vingroup partner for a green future

The Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) and Vingroup have recently signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of a journey to enhance the competitiveness and position of Vietnamese enterprises while promoting sustainable development with responsibility towards the environment and society.

The signing ceremony was conducted by Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of VYEA, and Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Vingroup.

Also present were VYEA’s Vice President: Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hue, Mr. Phan Thanh Thien, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Mr. Nguyen Tien Long, Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Mr. Le Tri Hai, Mr. Hoang Cong Doan, Mr. Do Duy Lien, Mr. Dương Long Thanh, along with representatives of Vingroup’s leadership, and 200 young entrepreneurs from VYEA.

Recognizing the pioneering role of the business community and entrepreneurs in driving socio-economic development and elevating the country’s international status, VYEA and Vingroup have agreed to extensive cooperation in various fields, particularly green transformation, to promote the sustainable development of the Vietnamese business community.

To achieve this goal, in the coming time, Vingroup and VYEA will jointly organize specialized seminars and forums on technology and green energy, enabling young businesses to learn from experience and seek collaboration opportunities.

In particular, highlighting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs not only in creating economic value but also in contributing to building a sustainable society, VYEA and Vingroup, within the framework of the cooperation, will actively promote initiatives encouraging members to switch to green transportation and protect the environment. Vingroup welcomes businesses to participate in expanding the nationwide network of electric vehicle dealerships and charging stations, as well as researching and implementing renewable and clean energy solutions. This practical activity will contribute to realizing Viet Nam’s commitment at COP26 to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, while also creating a green future for all.

Both parties have also agreed to establish a support program for startups in the fields of technology, green real estate, education, and healthcare. VYEA, with its strength in connecting domestic entrepreneurs and businesses, will play a role in identifying and introducing potential startup projects. Meanwhile, Vingroup, with its strength and resources as a leading multi-sector private corporation, is ready to provide expertise, strategic consulting, and support packages to help startups grow.

Additionally, Vingroup and VYEA will work closely to organize business networking and trade promotion events aimed at showcasing and introducing the products and services of both parties, thereby expanding customer bases and potential markets.
