On the morning of September 6th in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) held a working session with a delegation from the International Association of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs of Osaka, Japan (JCI Osaka), who are currently visiting and working in Viet Nam.
Attending the program were Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, Japan; Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thin, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs); Mr. Hironoki Sakai, President of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association.
Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau, Vice President of the VYEA; some members of the Presidium, members of the Central Committee of the VYEA, and member enterprises participated in the reception and working session with the delegation.
On the JCI Osaka side, there was Mr. Tanaka Ryota, Chairman of the International Business Promotion Committee (under JCI Osaka), along with representatives of member enterprises of JCI Osaka.
Delivering a welcoming speech, Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau, VYEA’s Vice President, affirmed that Japan has long been an important economic partner of Viet Nam, and Osaka is a major economic center of Japan with strong development in fields such as technology, manufacturing, and energy.
“We hope that through this meeting, we will have the opportunity to exchange and learn valuable experiences from young Japanese entrepreneurs, especially in the fields of technology, investment, logistics, and sustainable development; at the same time, we believe that the cooperation between the VYEA and the JCI Osaka will bring many positive values to the business community of both countries,” Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau emphasized.
On this occasion, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association expressed its desire to promote cooperation with JCI Osaka through the sharing of information about investment projects, strengthening trade connections between the two sides; creating conditions for cooperation in research and application development in the fields of green technology, renewable energy; and supporting each other in organizing exchange programs, connecting delegations of young entrepreneurs of the two countries when working in Viet Nam or Japan.
On behalf of the JCI Osaka delegation, Mr. Tanaka Ryota, Chairman of the International Business Promotion Committee (under JCI Osaka), expressed his gratitude for the warm and thoughtful reception of the VYEA; and at the same time, believed that after today’s meeting, the two sides would implement appropriate cooperation contents, promote cooperation opportunities and business connections between the two sides, contributing to further strengthening the relationship between the two organizations in particular, and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Japan in general in the future.
