On the afternoon of March 25th, the Ha Noi Young Business Association (HanoiBA) met and worked with a delegation from the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province (China). Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Vice President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (VYEA), President of HanoiBA, and Mr. Yang Xiao Min, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province (China) co-chaired the meeting.
Also present were Mr. Tran Van Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the VYEA, Vice President – General Secretary of HanoiBA; members of the HanoiBA executive committee and members; and members of the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province (China).
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Dang Nam gave an overview of the organization and activities of HanoiBA. After more than 30 years of establishment and development, HanoiBA has become a strong, professional organization, not only limited to the scale of the city, but also always pioneering in the movement of young entrepreneurs in Viet Nam.
So far, HanoiBA has more than 3,000 members, 20 clubs, with a total revenue of 150,000 billion VND, creating jobs for 110,000 employees.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Yang Xiao Min introduced the potential for business connections of Qinghai Province as well as the strengths of businesses and industries. As a province in western China, Qinghai is currently a major economic partner of Viet Nam with a trade turnover of 28.9 billion USD last year, with strengths in the fields of energy, new materials, industrial chemicals, agriculture, and food.
Currently, businesses in the province are also investing heavily in many northern provinces of Vietnam, and at the same time, they are looking forward to cooperating with HanoiBA member businesses in areas of strength.
At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged information and established a contact group to develop relations. The leaders of the two units also agreed to organize in-depth meetings and direct exchanges in each country in the near future.
| Afterwards, on March 27th in Bac Ninh, the HanoiBA delegation also attended, spoke and connected for cooperation at the Vietnam – Qinghai (China) Economic and Trade Promotion Conference 2024.
